Handlebars by Flobots

One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.

Handlebars by Flobots

Heard this on the radio the other day (which is odd, since I never listen to music on the radio) and really enjoyed this song.

Great song! :guitar: I haven't heard of Flobots before, but this song sounded like a cross between Gorillaz and CAKE.

Here's the same YouTube video embedded for everyone's viewing pleasure:

Hehe...you guys are slow! I've been listening to this group for months now! The album is pretty good too, definitely a political spin. I found them on a site called cdbaby.com which is just for independent artists. Found this one on there too....whenever you're wanting to listen to some good ol' pirate rap. Cause ya know, who hasn't sat around and wondered "where can I find some good pirate rap?" http://cdbaby.com/cd/captaindan2

This is the same problem I ran into when I tried to embed it. If you go back to the video on youtube, somewhere on that page it says embedding is disabled for this video. Why? I have no f*cking clue.

So I just signed up and downloaded the song since you've been mentioned the site a few times.

One question: Can you download songs in any higher bit rate then 128kb/sec? It's kind of a deal breaker for me if they don't offer anything else. I already use and discover new music on http://www.last.fm

That's a good comparison. They do sound like a cross of those bands.

The song is about the idea that we have so much incredible potential as human beings to be destructive or to be creative. And it's tragic to me that the appetite for military innovation is endless, but when it comes to taking on a project like ending world hunger, it's seen as outlandish. It's not treated with the same seriousness
